Just an informal meeting of the council this week to catch up.
Most councillors have been on a road trip to the far east of the Region. Unfortunately, I had a strategic planning day for another board (SILC) so was not able to join.
These trips are not junkets but important opportunities to see and hear from people who might find it difficult to get into see Council. Very disappointed to not be available but very excited with the work we achieve at SILC Charitable Trust.
Most of the reading this week was for Smartgrowth and also in preparation for Council next week.
